Buying or selling a home is by far the biggest and most important financial transaction in which the majority of people will ever be involved. We aim to give that transaction the importance and attention it deserves.
The main and abiding focus of our Property Department is client satisfaction. We strive to change problems into solutions and so turn our clients' ambitions into our clients' attainments.
We achieve this by a combination of expertise, experience and technology.
We think of our team not as mere house conveyancers but as property lawyers – with skills honed over many years of practice and enhanced by a culture of ongoing training and keeping up to date with latest law and developments in the property world. Our experience is so wide that there will be no street or road in Neath Port Talbot or a town or village in South Wales or a town or city anywhere in England and Wales where one or other of our lawyers has not dealt with a property transaction.
On top of this, we ensure our lawyers have access to the latest equipment and information sources so that they have the tools to deliver their service with efficiency and speed but at the same time never sacrificing the attention to detail you, the client, quite rightly expect.
Home Information Packs
Under new regulations, all residential properties – including new builds from 6 April 2008 – must have a Home Information Pack (HIP) once placed on the market for sale.
HIPs do not apply to private transactions but do apply to anyone who markets a property, such as erecting a home made ‘for sale’ sign or placing an advert in a newsagent’s window. Our property team is well qualified to assist clients in the preparation of their HIP.
We are able to provide a quick and reliable HIP service before the property is placed on the market and, by using our HIP service, many clients have been able to make substantial financial savings. |
