Our Criminal Law Department is respected by fellow professionals and clients alike. We cover every aspect of the criminal justice system from police station work, magistrates’ courts and crown courts to the Court of Appeal and House of Lords.

We operate a 24 hour call out scheme so that any client arrested anywhere can have instant access to our advice and representation. The firm has three solicitors who are members of the duty solicitor panel in Stephen Harrett, Simon Thomas and Meriel East.

We have substantial experience in representing defendants in all areas of law from road traffic matters to serious fraud cases, sexual abuse and homicide.

We also have experience in dealing with cases involving breaches of human rights and how it interacts with the criminal justice system.
