When the Licensing Act 2003 overhauled and introduced a new regime governing the way in which public licences were to be regulated, he ensured that all clients were advised of the new developments so that their transfers to the local authority were carried out smoothly and effectively. His hands-on approach and effective communications with clients and the relevant authorities has proved to be very successful and the licensing practice of the firm has grown since the introduction of the new Act.
